Free Keswick walks: Catbells, Derwentwater and Newlands Valley

Catbells -  starting from Swinside Lodge Hotel,  a 'car-free' day out! Enjoy the magnificent views of Derwentwater from the top! For the less energetic there is a medium level walk on the terrace of Cat Bells.

Derwentwater lakeshore - starting from Swinside Lodge hotel, another 'car-free' day out! You can get on the launch at various jetties round the lake. The launch is a regular service in high season and at weekends in low season.

Newlands valley - a low level walk starting from Swinside Lodge Hotel, again 'car-free'! A circular walk taking in Newlands church with the back drop of Cat Bells, Hindscarth and Causey Pike.
